Island Aromas by
Founded by Ian and Janet Russell nearly 20 years ago, Arran Aromatics is a body and skin care specialist firm. The Russells produce their creative and natural products from beautiful Arran Island in Scotland. They work from their beautiful, care free home.
The first skin and body care products the Russells made, in 1988, for their Arran Aromatics label were toiletries. Now Arran Aromatics has 250 different body and skin care products on the international market. Included in the Arran Aromatics repertoire of fine products are bath foams and bath grains, soaps that are triple milled vegetable products, shower gels, body washes, hand creams, bath oils, lip balms and body lotions. From the original all-natural Arran Aromatics grew a subsidiary, Arran Candleworks. This happened in 2000. Now Arran Candleworks offers 147 styles of fragrant candles, all of which can be purchased online.
The small cozy, Home Farm retail and office complex in Arran is the setting for Arran Aromatics. It is a captivating, warm, pleasant building, with a look of comfort created by, among other aesthetics, a lovely courtyard. Other retailers in the Arran Aromatic neighborhood are a seafood restaurant, and a cheese manufacturer.
Besides the ability to order Arran Aromatics and pay for them right from the Web site, the online home of Arran Aromatics gives consumers a lot of help and hints as well as product news. There's a handy Visitor Center page that offers the latest in body and skin care news and state of the art developments in natural health care. With the site's body guide you can readily see how the various Arran Aromatics products can help the good health and vitality of your many body parts. In the online Features section you can read expert articles related to body and skin care.
One article, for example, on skin care when you're on the road, advises consumers on various travel-friendly beauty and body care products such as water bottle, face mist, sunscreen moisturizer, tea tree oil for scrapes and burns and wet wipes.
Each month has its own special Arran Aroma, featured on the site at that time. Vetiver, for example, a recent featured aroma, is a tropical blend found in Sri Lanka, South India and Indonesia. Vetiver is a member of the same family as lemongrass, citronella and palmarosa. What is most helpful about this Arran Aromatics fragrance is that it can not only protect domestic India animals from vermin and also can be part of the weaving process for awnings, fans and mats.
Sometimes called the fragrance of tranquility, Vetiver by Arran Aromatics treats insomnia and stress both by relieving stress. Vetiver can also help reduce excess skin oil, heal minor wounds, and repair acne and minor cuts.

Question about different kinds of sugar?
I'm trying to give up refined sugar, but when reading ingredients I can't tell which sugar is refined. I know if it just says sugar then it is, but what about evaporated cane juice, dehydrated cane juice, and natural milled cane sugar?
I want to know if the 3 specific ingredients I listed are refined or not
Any sugar is technically refined. It doesn't exist in nature. That said, "refined" usually refers to white sugar or corn syrup. All three that you mention are "natural" version of sugar, meaning that they are not mechanically/chemically extracted from beets or corn, but rather derived from pressing the juice from sugar cane and then evaporating the water.
