Can iguanas eat climbing plants?
Hello everyone! I am building my iguana a new cage and wanted to put a real plant in there along with artificial hanging plants. I was thinking of those climbing vines that grow all over the place over anything so maybe it can cover the inside of the cage and the branches. If she ends up eating the leaves will it be okay? Any info will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
It's possible it could eat it, but i beleive there is a spray (chemical) that is harmless to them that keeps them from eating things you dont want them to. but i think if that lizard has a food tray and knows where its at and is on a steady feeding schedule every day, it prolly shouldnt eat it unless its starving. It may most likely keep the leaves there to try and camo him self in .
hope this answer helps.
